GTA V on PC delayed once again as a new update introduces Online Heists

Rockstar has broken radio silence with two loud announcements today regarding their best-selling title GTA V. In a post on their website, the development house announced that an upcoming update, scheduled for the release on the 10th of March, will introduce the Online Heists mode to GTA V multiplayer system. This mode allows up to 4 players to team up in an attempt to pull off one of the raids and robberies across Los Santos and Blaine County. Some screenshots featuring images from the heists have been released, one of them showing a boarding-party sailing toward an aircraft carrier anchored in the Los Santos Bay. Rockstar promised more information about the heist to be shared in the following days.

The second announcement comes as a breath of fresh air to all PC gamers, who have seen their copy of GTA V flying away multiple times and the PC version of the game was delayed. Rockstar has finally announced a release date for the game on PC, April 14, 2015, while expressing their sorrow for the delays and promising a reward for all of those who will still choose to play the game on their computer. While insisting that these delays were necessary in order to polish the game and improve its overall quality, Rockstar promised they will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online.

Rockstar announced that the PC version of GTA V is their most graphically and technically advanced version yet, optimized to be compatible with a broad range of hardware while featuring PC-exclusive quality including greater levels of detail, deep configuration options and ultra-high-definition support, as well as the new Rockstar Editor tool, which can be used to create and edit custom videos. Rockstar added that the game will be available both at stores and through digital download platforms and asked their players to co-operate with the company during the first days of launch by reporting bugs and play-testing the new features, while thanking them for their patience.
