GTA 5 PC listed on Steam, will come with improvements

The PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA 5 were announced by Rockstar last week during E3. The company also said that the highly successful title will be making its way on the said platforms sometime this Fall. While we still have a few months to go until then, Steam has already taken the liberty of listing the PC version along with a description that tells us all about the improvements GTA 5 is receiving. Rockstar didn’t initially say if the game will be available through Steam so it’s good to see that it did surface in the meantime.

“Grand Theft Auto V for PC will take full advantage of the power of PC to deliver across-the-board enhancements including increased resolution and graphical detail, denser traffic, greater draw distances, upgraded AI, new wildlife, and advanced weather and damage effects for the ultimate open world experience. Grand Theft Auto V for PC also includes Grand Theft Auto Online, the ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto universe. Explore the vast world or rise through the criminal ranks by banding together to complete Jobs for cash, purchase properties, vehicles and character upgrades, compete in traditional competitive modes, or create new content to play and share with the Grand Theft Auto community. ”

“All new content and gameplay created and released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online including new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations will also be available in Grand Theft Auto Online for PC. In addition, the current community of players will have the ability to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation4, Xbox One or PC. Grand Theft Auto V for PC will also feature a video editor designed for advanced movie-making.”

Naturally Steam only describes the PC version, but we can tell you for certain that all the improvements also apply to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA 5. The game is not yet available for pre-order on Steam for some reason so the best you can do right now is to add it to your wishlist until it does become available. However, if you really want to pre-order it now you can do it through Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, and other retailers for the price of $60. Check out this page for more details on GTA 5 pre-orders. Stay tuned for all the latest news and updates.
