The flashy BlackBerry Porsche P’9983 hits the stores

The vast and ever changing gadget market welcomes a new classy and expensive smartphone: the BlackBerry Porsche P’9983. Every now and then, Blackberry like to celebrate their partnership with the Porsche Design team by launching a new premium smartphone. Judging by the price of the previous model, the Blackberry Porsche P’9981, which is still retailing for well over $1500, the new Blackberry Porsche p’9983 should be in the $2000 price range. The P’9983 was unveiled Wednesday, September 17, in an official event which took place in Dubai. For unknown reasons, Blackberry revealed on their official website all the essential details regarding their new smartphone before the conference had even kicked off.

The new Blackberry P’9983 is an exquisite smartphone built out of highly durable stainless steel. Its rear casing is made out of fiberglass, while the phone’s main camera is covered by a sapphire crystal. The Porsche Design logo placed above its display is also carved out of steel. The Blackberry P’9983 is showing off with a very special keyboard, the QWERTY, which features glass-like keys with silver font characters, auto correct features, and 3D effect. The end result? A smartphone of unparalleled reliability and beauty. It’s worth mentioning that the phone has a pre-installed operating system, the Blackberry OS 10.3 version which includes advanced security solutions. Furthermore, the P’9983 is fitted with a 3.1″ Display and 8 MP Camera, and 64 GB internal storage.
