OPPO N3 will sport an aerospace grade metal build

The OPPO N3 is the OPPO N1 and N1 Mini successor pegged for an October release. OPPO has advertised this phone as being built for what may come, suggesting not only the fact that it will be a future proof device, but the high-grade aerospace materials it will be built from. The OPPO N3 will supposedly feature an even more powerful rotating camera, which will surely propel the handset to the top of the selfie phones chart.

Previously, we’ve seen rather awkward renders of the OPPO N3, showing a tubular rotating camera which would be inconvenient, to say the least. The render was updated fast, because many seemed discomforted by the weird design of the camera which didn’t fit the flat, sleek design of the handset. The new render shows an OPPO N3 with a similar design to its predecessor, the N1, i=only the handset will supposedly be a bit thinner.

The OPPO N3 is among the most anticipated devices from a Chinese OEM, with excellent specs and price to boast with. The OPPO Find 7 and Find 7a were quite well-received by the general public because they packed flagships specs into an affordable smartphone. The Find 7 rivals flagships like the Sony Xperia Z3, Samsung Galaxy S5, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, HTC One M8 and even the OnePlus One. The OPPO N3 on the other hand, comes as an even stronger rival to these flagships and will supposedly be a match for the Galaxy Note 4 as well.

The new poster and information coming from OPPO says that the OPPO N3 will be made of an aerospace grade metal body, offering a metal design without the weight compromise. The material the OPPO N3 will be made of will not only be durable, but lightweight and cool to the touch. We don’t know much about the actual specs the OPPO N3 will sport, but we expect to see at least a 16 MP camera and maybe a 64 bit CPU since OPPO is obviously suggesting that OPPO N3 will be a future-proof phone. A release date for the OPPO N3 is set for October 29, which is pretty far away, leaving room for further information to get leaked. The image on the left is the first render that has been leaked to GSMArena.com, whilst the image on the right is the newer render that has surfaced online.

We are excited to learn more about the OPPO N3 and since a design has not been disclosed by OPPO itself, we don’t know for sure how the new flagship will look like. If OPPO decides to go with the tubular rotating camera, they might encounter skeptics who will not praise the asymmetric design suggested in previous renders. Nonetheless, employing that kind of design will surely offer a lot of mobility for the camera and the LED flash paired with the lens is surely a plus for the OPPO N3.

About Egon Kilin

My life-long dream has been to test out every gadget on the market! Considering the fact that I've rapidly destroyed almost every gadget I've had so far, I'm not inclined to owning something, so my ideal outcome would be to have a different gadget each month. I'm really into smartphones, wearables and tablets and I love Playstation and Xbox, I'm sure I'll beat you at your own game (after a month of training... or two)
