Sword Art Online: Lost Song Gains Two New Characters

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is the upcoming JRPG based on the hit anime. A couple of weeks ago, a couple of playable characters were introduced. Now, another couple of characters have been revealed.

In this week’s Dengeki PlayStation, two more characters for Sword Art Online: Lost Song were revealed. In Lost Song, players will be able to play as Strea and Algo. In ALfheim Online, Strea is a gnome, while Algo is a Cait Sith. In battle Algo uses hand-to-hand combat. Along with the two characters, it was announced that Philia’s hair color is changeable to its original golden color. Philia was confirmed to be a playable character a few weeks ago (you can read about that here).

It was revealed a few weeks ago that Sword Art Online: Lost Song will have multiplayer. Up to four people are able to form a party and quest together. Players choose a quest, pick which character they would like to play as, and cooperate to complete the mission. The central hub for the game is Sky City Line, where players will find a weapon and workshop, and other businesses. In the Town Square, gamers can mingle with other various ALfheim Online players. At the town inn players can deposit items and adjust equipment. At the weapon and workshop, players are able to customize and enhance their weapons. At the tavern, players can gather information and take on quests. In town there is a portal to the various islands in ALfheim Online. Players can form a party, prepare their equipment, and head out on quests.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song will release on the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on March 26th. At the moment there is no word on whether or not the title will be released outside of Japan. Sword Art Online: Lost Song is the sequel to the PS Vita title Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment.
