Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 Beta

CI Games have announced they are holding an open beta on steam for their up coming game Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, the modern day stealth sniper game. Starting January 17th players can register for the beta by clicking here. The Beta will begin on February 3rd, 2017.  Marek Tymiński, CEO of CI Games had this to say about the beta.

“We can’t wait for fans of the Sniper Ghost Warrior series to get an early taste of what’s to come when the game releases on April 4, 2017,”

He then went on to say,

“Since this is a technical test, we encourage everyone to give us feedback of their experiences in the Steam forums. We hope they enjoy what they play!”

The beta will let players experience two exclusive levels set in the open world of the Republic of Georgia called CUT OFF and BLOCKOUT. Below you will find a description of both levels.

Cut Off
The Separatists control a large antenna array, which lets them use satellites to track enemy movements and communicate with distant outposts. Jon needs to infiltrate this compound and manually reposition the dishes to intercept the satellite signal. Gaining access to enemy communications would give Jon and his team a tactical advantage over the enemy, as well as possible Intel on his brother, Robert.

Blockout
Jon’s cooperation with the local resistance, the Rotki Lions, gave him the location of one of the targets from his Most Wanted list – a list containing the names of war criminals that Jon can neutralize to bring justice to the people of Georgia. The target is Ivan Krustchev. He’s hiding out in an abandoned apartment complex, surrounded by his guards. How will you complete this mission? Will you use your sniper rifle from the opposite building, storm the outpost with your assault rifle, or sneak past the guards and quietly take out your target?

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will becoming to PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox one on April 4th, 2017. To learn more about CI Games and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 just follow one of the links below.

We can now be almost full armored snipers:) Thanks to CI Games such opportinity can’t be wasted so every gun lover shoudl sign u and test this tite on own hardware.

Shooting the guns felt like in real life minus the recoil 😀 no but honestly the gun sounds were very high quality and I loved the complexity of sniping. How did you like the beta man?

      • Clamp

It was good exeperience on a old hardware. I didn’t occur all that super grahpics, cuz you know – no solid hardware, but it was good. Like i wrote earlier, this game has a good optimalisation, so even minimal requirements are too big:)

Oh yeah shooting in SGW 3 was awesome. I think that it feels so good thanks to the sound effects. But the shooting animation is important as well..

  • Noizy Bird

It will be the last test fo my hardwere. It is not so old or it is too old to run modern games:) Its only shame, that console don’t have beta version of SGW3:|

I play on PC, but I feel sorry for XO and PS4 players that they didn’t have a chance to play beta. Well, full game wil be available in less than 2 months.

My friend had the same problem, but we have agreement that I can play in PS4 in some games, and he can play on my PC. So we took a night with SGW, beer and lots of fun!

I really liked the open beta of SGW 3. The game was much better than what I’ve expected. I’d love to hear what your thoughts @noizybird:disqus @Pureya:disqus

    • Noizy Bird

That was good test to developer. I dont know, but did you noticed how fast they released patch? It was like running Flash or Quicksilver:) I played on few PC’s and i hadn’t any problems except dircetX that needed to be updated before launching game.

      • BiteTheBullet

Yes, patch was available like in few hours after thebeta was open. Very good. And I think the game was fine, I hope other missions will be even more interesting.

Well, i was playing on not so young PC and i was surprised, that on low i had good gaming experience. Offourse i’ve try to run game on medium, but it was too much for my hardware. Neverhless, when game had screen full of bing bang and running enemies, only thing i could see was slideshow for a short time, but mostly i didnt care about FPS. I knew that this game coudlnt run, but it was good optimaised so why not. How’s your cofnig?
