GTA 5 PC, PS4, Xbox One releasing November 7th according to retailer

Fall is approaching fast and we still don’t know the exact release date for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 versions of GTA 5. Or do we? While Rockstar isn’t willing to talk just yet, online retailers sure are. Earlier this month we reported that the highly anticipated title was spotted on CoolShop’s website with the release date of November 14th. Now another UK retailer claims that GTA 5 will arrive on PC and current gen on November 7th instead. GameSeek also lists the prices and it seems that the PC version is again cheaper than the Xbox One and PS4 versions. I’m not sure if this is a common practice in the UK, but it seems to me that pricing should be the same for all platforms.

One the other hand, these prices could just be placeholders as could the release date for that matter. Rockstar announced back at E3 that GTA 5 will indeed be arriving to PC, PS4, and Xbox One this Fall. However, no specific date was mentioned so it would be wise to take this with a pinch of salt for now. But November does seem like a good time to release it as October is incredibly crowded and September is pretty close already so I think they would have said something by now if they were planning to launch it then. Overall the game will be more or less similar to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, although there will be some improvements, especially on the visual side.

“Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California. ” Rockstar also says that the PC and current gen versions of GTA 5 will offer us the deepest open world experience to date and we can also expect to see a great number of enhancements.  These include new wildlife, upgraded weather effects, upgraded damage effects, and a plethora of other new details.

While we can’t tell you that the release date listed by GameSeek or any other retailer is legit, we will say that all the excitement revolving around GTA 5 is justified. The game was awesome the first time, but now it looks like we’re in for an even better experience.
