The Super Bowl is starting soon and many of you would rather watch it online or don’t have the possibility of getting to a big screen TV or the game itself in Glendale, Arizona. The game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots kicks off starting 3:30 pm ET on Sunday, so there’s not much time left. If you want to tune in online and watch the game from your lunch-break, at home, from your parent’s house or from your dorm at the University, here’s where you can do so.
NBC is naturally streaming the Super Bowl live on its website, so that’s the easiest way you can watch the game from wherever you like, as long as you’ve got a pretty good internet connection and access to NBC. Alas, the website isn’t available in some countries, so you might have to bypass some IPS rules in order to gain access, which is a difficult feat. Nonetheless, the live coverage of the Super Bowl includes the pre-game coverage, halftime show and the post-game coverage, so if you can, choose NBC. You could also choose NBCSports Live in case you don’t have cable or aren’t close enough to a broadcasting tower.
If you’re on mobile, you can also choose official NBC apps, regardless of OS, as you can download the NBC Sports Live Extra apps for Windows, Android and iOS. The catch here is that it will only work if you’re on a tablet, because they can’t stream to phones, for whatever reason. Nonetheless, you can log in to the apps with your cable account before the game starts, but NBC says you might not have to once the coverage is live.
If you’re on Verizon, then you might get lucky as you can watch the Super Bowl on the official NFL mobile applications for Android, BlackBerry, Windows and iOS, too. We rarely say yay Verizon, but this time it seems warranted! Although the streaming is exclusive to Verizon, NFL apps also offer voice-coverage of the game in case you live outside of the U.S. You can listen to the Super Bowl in German, Hungarian, French, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and mandarin.
Have fun watching the Super Bowl and we hope you find the perfect outlet for you to have a great viewing experience. Be sure to let us know if you’ve found better options to watch the Super Bowl online from your TV, mobile, laptop or PC.
