Best privacy apps for Android: end to end encryption for free

2. SpiderOak

Since the world revolves around cloud storage now, apparently, we can’t leave out a privacy app for Android that provides end to end encryption with their service. SpiderOak is not the best cloud storage platform out there, and you only get 2 GB free storage, but even Edward Snowden recommended it in a video interview, so it has to be the safest option to keep your files. Even though 2 GB is very little storage to take advantage of, it should be enough for the most sensitive documents you own, such as ID scans, driver’s license scans, warranty information and such. You can always upgrade your storage, which will cost $12 per month for 1 TB of storage. You can pay for a whole year and it will cost you $130. It’s not that expensive, but it’s not the best offering out there. But hey, end to end encryption, right? You can get the desktop application from the official website, or the Android app from the Google Play Store, for free.

About Egon Kilin

My life-long dream has been to test out every gadget on the market! Considering the fact that I've rapidly destroyed almost every gadget I've had so far, I'm not inclined to owning something, so my ideal outcome would be to have a different gadget each month. I'm really into smartphones, wearables and tablets and I love Playstation and Xbox, I'm sure I'll beat you at your own game (after a month of training... or two)
