inFamous: Second Son First Light DLC coming this August

Sucker Punch announced earlier that the First Light DLC will arrive for inFamous: Second Son on August 26th North America and August 27th Europe. The company also revealed the pre-order bonus, which comes in form of an additional outfit for Fetch. Abigail “Fetch” Walker will be the protagonist of First Light and you will follow her story in order to discover how she came to posses her Neon powers. We already had the pleasure of meeting miss Walker in Second Son’s main campaign, but now it’s time to find out what exactly makes her tick. Fortunately, you wont need the main game to do that as First Light is a standalone expansion so it can be played without owning inFamous: Second Son. However, if you do have the core game you will unlock exclusive content.

As for details regarding the DLC itself, we’ve learned some story info thanks to a description provided by Sony. Check it out: “Return to Seattle as Abigail “Fetch” Walker – the feisty, neon-powered conduit who takes on the Department of Unified Protection with Delsin Rowe – in this prequel to inFAMOUS: Second Son. Unravel Fetch’s dark past as she relives her troubled memories while being interrogated by Brooke Augustine in the notoriously harsh prison for superhumans – Curdun Cay. See Fetch develop her powers and become a trained killer, then fight to escape the maximum security facility and seek revenge against those who’ve wronged her. Get a taste of the award-winning inFAMOUS: Second Son action without needing the full game. Set your top scores with Fetch’s neon powers in the Conduit Training Room.”

inFamous: Second Son can be purchased for the price of $15 and you can pre-order it for the PS4 from here. Aside from that, not much else is known about the DLC at the moment, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out something new. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
